1939 Spange zum Eisernen Kreuzes 2er Klasse 1914

Hi folks , another award from a grouping I recently acquired . A nicely detailed 1939 Spange zum Eisernen Kreuzes 2er Klasse 1914 in silver plated brass/Tombak , looking through the pinned thread on WRF (and on other sites) I can not find one that matches with the same reverse set up ! a good fake perhaps ? This spange has been showing up recently and the missing pebbles in the date bar and the straight lines of pebbles around the swastika makes me weary of this spange. It looks like it is supposed to be a Prinzen because of the pins, what are the measurements please.

The measurements are 29mm wing tip to wing tip & 29mm from the top of the wing to the bottom of the bar . incidently this came with a TR collection that has just come in to my possession which does contain imo both original & reproduction items some easier to spot than others, This particular spange has been in the collection since the mid 1980's .Thank you all so much for your interest ,its appreciated. The measurements are wrong for an original, 30mm by 30mm at least some a little bigger (half a mil). Jim

Thanks Jim, Used a steel rule last nite, results a little different today using a Vernier, not sure if this helps but gives a better picture for future reference.Regards ,Paul

Hi Paul, sent your pictures to a friend who has studied spanges an kind of got me into collecting them. He says that it is the rare version of Souval post-war spange. Jim
