1939 Spange zum Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse Is it good?
Hello gents, i have found this clasp on some ads, hard to tell is it original from these pictures, but maybe i will get photos of clasp itself if seller would be able and willing to take it of from ribbon and take pictures just of that clasp. Cross looks good to me, altough there are only pictures of obverse, but that is not something which worryng me to much at this moment, because i am primarily interested for that clasp. What are your thoughts about this clasp?
Best regards, Franko
Thanks Ralph, i know. It will be always mystery for me why anyone takes photos like this, in case that that person actually sells some good genuine stuff of course, otherwise its quite obvious for what reason are all that odd angles.
Best regards, Franko
Here are some additional pictures, and i already dont like it, on one picture one little clasp is broken on the other all four are good. And again i get some more of that odd angles, altough i was asking for straight on photos. Something is not right here, in my opinion.
Best regards, Franko
Thanks Greg. Cross is original definetively. I have to agree for the ribbon, its fake, so i assume that the clasp is fake as well.
Best regards, Franko
Something I noticed on one of the photos that struck me as odd.
Maybe it's a trick of the camera because of the angle but notice the 0s
in the 9s. Look to be at different angles to me.

myself around.
The spange is a good maker marked one by Wilhelm Deumer.
Unfortunately, since it was removed from the ribbon, one of the prongs has been broken off.

Thanks Ralph. Because that broken piece i will probably pass on this one. I have to find one in better conditin as well as one for the first class.
