Very proud to show you guys this denazified RK that crossed my path!
The picture is one of the dozen I had from the seller.
Just waiting for the mail man, now!
I gladly put up some more pics when it got here.

Stuka F what type of RK is this supposed to be ? It looks like it hasn't been denazified but battered out of recognition , especially some of the tell tale areas that would usually id the maker and it's legitmacy plus it may be the photo but it seems mishaped.
Much better photos are needed but sorry i don't like it !!

Paul

Hello Stuka f,
I think it looks like a Steinhauer & Luck RK, that has had the swastika removed, can't wait for more pictures to get loaded.
I like it

Spence
Spencer i assume you are basing that on the 1939 which certainly looks like S & L, It's the damage to the arms and the centre corners of the beading that would produce the individual features of the RK that concern me.
More and better photos needed.

Indeed the picture is'nt the best one, I had to cut and paste it from one big file.
It should indeed represent a Steinhauer & Lück manufactured piece.
And it has indeed been battered when it was denazified.
I hope to be able to put up some more and better pics at the end of the week.
I am pretty confident in the autenthicity of it.
Those pictures are slightly better , the Ose is looking like an Steinhauer & Lück one , closer pictues of the arms and the centre corners of the beading on the reverse where the damage is not as bad would help make a real decision on it.
Does it have any sort of story with it ?
Looking forward to some better close up's

Guys it may be my eyes and or the photo but the 8 in the 800 looks lower that the " 0 " a usual feature of a Klein and Quenzer RK ??

Hi Paul and AdrianC,
I think it looks as though the 800 has been struck slightly skewed and this is making the 8 look a little low, I still think it looks okay with these second photos.
I kind of like these ones that have been beaten up over the years and de-nazified, they have that "lived" look about them
I'm sure stuka f will post some more pictures when he receives it, and I will be looking forward to seeing them, but looks good to me.

Spence
