    In this area of collecting i have only been to date interested in the Ritterkreuz and have one in my collection . Die flaws are well known on RK's in particular S and L 's but with regard to EK I's and their production are die flaws known to exist within the manufacture process ?

    In a word, yes.
    Some worse, and more often seen than others, but yes.
    Often, rough dates of a particular maker can be determined by the amount of flaws.
