Sorry, but I don't feel that they are WWII issue. Are the markings raised rather than stamped? Godet Oaks that I've seen and handled all seem to have stamped in markings. Take a look at a couple of links of genuine Oaks that I've posted here and tell us what You think.

In my opinion the markings are definitely stamped.

here are some other pics of the oaks.
I think that the pictures show that the markings are stamped.

I found this oaks on weitze.net The stamps look nearly identical. The "900" stamp is also slightly stamped.

I'm not up on oakleaves, but I do like the quality of this set.

It's a great 57er RK with modified ribbon, that's for sure!

Personally, I'm not liking the lack of crispness to the edges and particularly to the tip of the center vein. I see no trace of frosting at all. For a hugely prestigious award, I would certainly expect incredible sharpness and minute details. This does not look like any that I have handled.
