Interesting.
The frame of a Gustav Brehmer and the core of a Katz & Deyhle? I've never seen this before. Can you post any pics of the edges of the cross please?

Personally, I don't like it - for the reasons Adrian has pointed out, and because I have seen fakes in the past that used a core that copied the Katz & Deyhle core design, but without the well defined details of the original. I suspect that this cross may be one of them.
Unfortunately, I didn't keep pictures to compare with, but I will do a search.
In the meantime, I look forward to hearing other opinions.
Regards - Danny
Edit: Looks like this (fake) one:

The outer edges look to be well finished, but I really don't like the separation on the inner parts of the arms.
I have seen this type of separation on crosses made using the 'Gablonzer Press' method, but NEVER with traces of solder showing like those in your photographs.
I still don't like it - too many bad features for me to be happy with it.

I agree with Danny. The flat edges of the arms have been finished on a sander or with a file yet the inner edges which are curved are left unfinished or very crudely filed as these are more difficult to get into.
Basically, you have a cross which doesn't match any known wartime maker as a whole, the components seem to be borrowed from different manufacturers and the assembly while good, just isn't right. The previous comments and the quality of some parts and lack of quality of others leaves too many questions unanswered for me to be happy with it so I will say fake. My advice would be to get your money back.
