IMO, you can't beat a nice K&Q EK II.
I received my father's unmarked example after his passing, and this is one of two items that had a large influence on me in my collecting future.

I missed this thread, I didnt see it so far at all. And what a beauty this is. Great iron cross and absolutely wonderful set. Klein und Quenzer is along with Deumer the best EK maker IMO.

Congrats on obtaining another fine grouping! Though I don't own many TR EK's, I can see how easy it can be to slip down the slope and have these be equally addictive to their Imperial counterparts.
