I see a difference between postwar and pre1945 ring is welded on the back, that I see is that the ring is welded on the back, I understand that mightbe pre1945?
I don't think anyone can tell for sure if it's wartime or not.

First impressions are that it's a good Souval but somehow I'm not convinced by it. The poor beading doesn't make me feel comfortable, it doesn't seem to extend down towards the flat edge of the frame far enough. The suspension ring only soldered on one side, which is a good sign, still doesn't look like what I would call wartime production, it seems thinner than on my Souvals and it just doesn't look right.
This is only my personal opinion and gut feeling but I would pass on this one and get a better example.
