Eisernes Kreuz 2nd Class Real or Fake

Hi,

I purchased this Iron Cross 2nd Class back in the early to mid 1990's (through the Exchange and Mart for any UK members) which was of course pre-forums.

This was from what I thought a reputable but since the onset of forums such as this I now believe it is a fake.

The suspension ring is obviously wrong, it is non-magnetic although it does appear to be 3 part construction

I am keen to hear what the forum thinks.

It does look like a cast copy to me. Others will soon comment as well
