A good Paulmann & Crone.
Is the core magnetic?
Regards - Danny
Well done Danny, I was about to go through my catalogue
Nick
Thank you very much both, on the topic if you would know no magnetic say because I do not have a magnet at home, which would have to buy. Sorry.
That number is Paulmann manufacturer and Crone?
thank you very much
Hi Gibello,
I asked because Paulmann & Crone EK's can be found with both magnetic and non-magnetic cores. The example I owned was non-magnetic. Their PKZ number was '86', although they did not mark their crosses (I should say, that none have been found as yet that were marked).
Regards - Danny
That's a nice EK Gibello! I have one of each, magnetic and non magnetic, not the easiest maker to find and as Danny says, never marked although you do see '86' marked crosses on dealers sites from time to time. These always turn out to be Souval crosses and the makers mark '98' has been read upside down.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you very much you both for having such good eyes, I can recommend a book to learn from EK's
The forum is the best place as the information is always updated and current!
