    Looks good Roger, I like the slightly mis-shapen look to it, the top arm is bent over to the left as you look at it from the front.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Thank you all. I had not noticed the slight list to port on that top arm. I'll have to take a closer look and ensure that is not an artifact of the scanner.

    I think it's the cross Roger as it bends to the right on the reverse image........

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    What an eye.

    0.5mm difference in height with the vertical arm being 43.75mm on the left (Obverse view) and 44.25mm on the right.

    The transverse arms are also angled slightly inward towards the top, with the width at the top of the arms at 43.30mm and the width at the bottom 44.21mm.

    I guess this one was made by Jacob Bengel the cross-eyed cross-maker

    I would like to see some more '44's for comparison. I have another on the way, can't wait to measure it, too!

    I will take better pics of my Bengel and add it to your thread here. 44 popped my ek2 cherry and I still love it Your example is a nice addition to your growing collection of ek2s you have going!
