    And a 'Round 3' at that!
    It's a pity someone soldered the core half into the frame.
    I hadn't realised that these were 2 part cores at all. Thanks for this information!
    Do you know how thick the core is?, as the other half of the core (with the 1813 date) is missing, I would imagine they are very thin. Interesting aswell to note that they are not stamped but solid core halves.

    Very interesting to see the extra unfinished area around the hump too!

    I would love to have that in my collection. Thanks again for showing it.

    With this core only having an obverse, would it not stand to reason that it was meant for an EK1? Any cores I have seen for the EK2 have all been single pieces with the stampings on both sides.
