I have just acquired my first EK2 as well. The markers mark is a 24. I do have the original ribbon that goes with this.

Hi Mel,
Thanks for posting your cross. I took the liberty of creating a seperate thread for it to avoid it being lost in another.
It's a good cross, typical '24', are there any more marks on the suspension ring?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Congratulations on your first Mel ! She is lovely
Looking forward to seeing more

It's becoming an epidemic, those EKs!
Very nice cross! Congrats.

Thanks everyone. As for the other markings it seems there are some dots, but I would put that down too being beaten around for the last 70 odd years
Very nice EK2! Congratulations!
Congrats on your first EK2 and welcome to the forum, Mel!

In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. CE
Take a look at this thread to see the type of markings to look for.

I think your cross is a double stamped 24.
Here is my double stamped example

Congrats on your first cross as well! That is a fantastic example. I really like how you've arranged your photographs too.
