Looks good, a Klein & Quenzer - '65' if I'm not mistaken.......
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you Adrian
I was hoping it was K&Q,i have never put this on a forum before.
Its been kept safely hidden away from my 2 year old daughter![]()
Hello
this case is hard to find and beautiful, in my opinion one of the nicest used during the WWII.
About cross, it 's very nice, good conditions, but really hard to recognize the manufacturer from these pics.. no Adrian, it 's not a K&Q , it 's a rare wideframe "24". Rare set !!!
Luke, can you take a pic of the hinge with opened pin and another one to show catch shape ?
Another thing, very important for me, Luke can you tell me if cross comes with this case or someone put them together ?
Hi Fabri
This EK came from a dealer in the Uk, i like this style of case and i liked the condition of the cross.
I will take more photos when i can, the cross has a bit of movement in the case, so there is not an exact fit when it goes in
the space made for the hinge is a little to big?
But i am not a collector who messes about with things so i wont be taking the case apart,i prefer to leave things as i got
them.
Hi Luke
thanks for your reply. I agree with your thought. Sometimes crosses don't fit perfectly but I think probably case cames with that cross.
Reason of my thoguht: I have the same cross, distance from anchor to the catch is really more than the average so if you 'll try hard to fit that cross in another case, not impossible because I have another one that has a good fit, but hard.
Ok I 'll wait for more pics to have confirmation, thank you.
Later I 'll add some pics of mine.
It will be very intresting to see pics of your cross,i look forward to it
I apresent you my cross![]()
beautiful!!Jay

I obviously was!My apologys.
Thank you for your identification Fabri, your knowledge of EK1s is far better than mine.
I've never seen a '24' EK1 before so I'm glad you got a rarer cross than a 'boring' K&Q Luke!
