    I bouight this at a big event in oregon and the guy who sold it to me A claimed it was an iron cross and sold it to me for 150$ and B said it came from an estate sale of an old retired US Army Colonel I can tell however that its a knights crss but is it original?






    please let me know if better pictures are needed

    Bad Detail and ring are not good.

    Ehhh yeah I'm not thinking this is good. It looks one piece,among other problems, like the beading and numbers. I don't like it but wait for others to chime in.

    Both ribbon and cross are very poor fakes. I suggest you get your money back asap and next time you see a RK for $150 remember that originals will be priced between $7000 - $9000.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Swastika and date looks almost melted and not sharp at all.
    Too bad.
    At least you did not get taked for the price of a genuine RK as quoted above.

    The ribbon ring appears to be a paper clip ! ?

    Sorry, Richtofen. It is worth about $20-$25 as a 'replica'. The guy preyed on you
    by feeding you a line, and you fell for it. I'd say that was pretty rotten.........!

    You could have purchased an original Iron Cross Second Class for under $150.
