Is this real? (Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse)

Hi everyone, i wanted to know if this Eisernen Kreuz 2. Klasse i bought in Berlin is real or not. Ignore the glue on top of the medal itself, it fell to the floor and my father had to repair it.

From these images it looks like a fake one piece made cross. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.

I believe the same as Adrian that it's a one-piece cast. Often found, for example, in historical reconstructions or as a theatrical copy.
