Have the opportunity to purchase an RK and i cant decide if its fake or real though leaning towards fake. The resin looking black coating seems like a dead giveaway to me that it’s fake and the numbers don’t look right.
Thanks in advance.

I don't collect EK's Rk's but it's pretty safe to say that's a poor quality fake

P.S. As Al said, junk.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
I agree 100 percent with Aldo. No where near the quality of a real one.
Tim.
As said above, a very poor fake. The ribbon is also a modern copy.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
This is the so-called "r.i.c.-fake". So far I've seen it in crosses of the first and second class versions. And now here you go - Ritterkreuz.
Robert
Ugly fake.
There was an original posted here recently. Compare the two and you will immediately see the difference.

WOW, I believe this deserves it's own award (ribbon optional) for one of the worst seen in 2023..
