    Have the opportunity to purchase an RK and i cant decide if its fake or real though leaning towards fake. The resin looking black coating seems like a dead giveaway to me that it’s fake and the numbers don’t look right.

    I don't collect EK's Rk's but it's pretty safe to say that's a poor quality fake

    I agree 100 percent with Aldo. No where near the quality of a real one.

    As said above, a very poor fake. The ribbon is also a modern copy.

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    This is the so-called "r.i.c.-fake". So far I've seen it in crosses of the first and second class versions. And now here you go - Ritterkreuz.

    WOW, I believe this deserves it's own award (ribbon optional) for one of the worst seen in 2023..
