    Thanks for sharing with us, it really is worth a look!

    A few unfortunate German subs saw the same fate after WW2. A bit sad really; there aren't many left, and preserving them is an ongoing battle. There is a lot of money put towards keeping them up.

    On a somewhat related note, when exploring these vessels, I find it easy to touch a wall and accidentally scrape off a piece of chipping paint. I refrain from damaging anything, even if the change would be unnoticeable. I think to myself, "It has managed this long without having been disturbed, and then YOU have to come along and ---- everything up!"
