Arnhem / Mkt Garden ("Leger" Trip) 2018
Here's some pics from a recent Leger trip up the route of 30 Corp to Arnhem...quite a mix though mainly from a couple of Museums...if you've got questions, please ask.
Some are sideways (sorry, but life's too short), and there's writing across all of them.
Highlights?...probably the 5 VCs and the LARC LX.......(although I can't recall the Canadians shipping the Brits out in one of those!)
Looks like some really interesting museums. I could spend a few hours there.
Thank you. The whole area / story is hugely interesting.....holding out for so much longer than originally planned AND the much larger group who didn’t make it to the bridge are often overlooked.

In memory of my father who was in K-Einsatz, combat engagement, with the RAD in the Alps in 1945, of my grandfather who was with the IR 87 during campaign in France in 1940 and of my grand-uncle who served in the Gardegrenadierregiment Nr. 3 "Königin Elisabeth" and who was killed in action at Craonne, Chemin des Dames in France in 1917

That museum looks so good. I'm going to add it to my list to visit for sure!

There’s a number of folk here who’ve been on a Leger trip....and a lot depends on what you want and what you’re used to......
