Hi, some pics of the sign where AH's bunker once stood. It was paid and erected privately just before the Euro football championship in the 90s, and was designed as a tourist trap. It stands a few 100 metres from the Jewish memorial adjacent the Brandenburg gate.
Will post other pictures of what is there now and a detailed plan of all the rooms in the bunker.

These are actually GFM Schorner batons/devices, at the time of taking this pic I was wondering if AH handed them to Schorner !?

Interesting! Are those post-war aerial photos of the Fuhrer bunker available anywhere to view in better resolution?

Default Flats on top of AH's bunker.

Hi, here's what stands on top of AH's bunker today. In pic No. 3 you can just make out The German flag, this is flying on top of the Reichstag Building. The Nazis had underground tunnels built from the Reichs chancellery to the Reichstag. Entry is free into the Reichstag, this is a beautiful building with a round spiralling staircase ( 360 degree view )leading up to the glass dome. Well worth the wait in a Que.. ( still retains lots of bullet holes to the outside frabic of the building) Here stood Adolf's Bunker. Part 1

Hi Slados, properly somewhere on the Net. The photos are not really clear due to it being a sunny day, most of them never came out very well, so went back to take some more as the sun was going down.

I can understand the world wanting to totally erase the nazi 'memory'.....but, that bunker sure would've been a big tourist attraction, if it was not destroyed..bigger than Pearl Harbor, etc

Hi Bronk, visit this site as this is an excellent reference page / listing of buildings from then and now.
    GOVERNMENT DISTRICT
Despite common belief the Russians did not destroy many buildings of the Reich.(after the war) If you visit Berlin around the Museum Islands many buildings are original and still bullet ridden.
