    A little bit of Berlin then and now.
    I found this photo on the net and thought it looked very familiar to me, it's the junction of Manfred von Richthofenstrasse and Tempelhoferdamm overlooking the terminal building of Tempelhof airport, i took the photo below on my visit a few weeks ago.A little bit of Berlin then and now.
    In 1945 hacking lumps of meat from a dead horse and in 2013 cafes and snack bars everywhere!...

    i can confirm that picture was taken within a dozen meters of the entrance to Tempelhof Zentral Flughafen. the small building in the background with the large entrance and steps was turn into the "Columbia Theatre" and used by the allies to show movies during the occupation. it is now a museum.

    at least i'm pretty sure that's the building.
