I am off to St.Nazaire the end of the month for a couple of days to see the sights.

Anybody been before, ?? any advice appreciated

I think you can see the u boot bunkers.
At the end of the war, the harbor was a desert, because of bombings!

First picture, where youu can go + the roof, there is also one part, property of a private society, you must go to them for visit their part, with a guide in a hand!

Looking forward to seeing those although my main priority is re-tracing the steps of the commando raid

In one part of the harbor, there is a French submarine, you can visit, very small!

You have also "the grand blockaus" in Batz sur mer


And you have all the big ships in construction.

Every time I go in this town, I go to the shipyard, in this time there is the biggest boat on sea.

I asked for the raid, nothing in St Nazaire(bombing), some souvenirs in the Batz Museum.


In the sea, there is also one monument for this ship.
