Don't all go rushing over there! ..... although I wonder what this girder thing is poking under the boundary fence along the D242?

I always loved the "old" black and White" pictures of the Panthers, MK4's and other panzer stuff at Trun.

Just imagine walking through that lot.

    Pure heaven.

Sad to see it now empty, but I'm sure a lot of it still survives in collections worldwide.

the hull should be welded up to keep rain water from getting inside and rotting the base of the tank out. a salvager has to live to. I under stand that, but putting a torch to an historic WW2 relic is SACKRELIEDGE!! and we all know it happened on a grand scale after WW2 with no one caring about them!

The floor plates of Tigers were 25mm ( 1" ) thick - I think it will last a long time yet before that happens....
