looks like that you would need a magnifying glass to read it? or a rely good pair of eyes. but soldiers had very good eyes back then. it was called, YOUTH!!

The 43 Series was actually one of the better produced maps in terms of scale and clarity. The GSGS maps are tiny and the GSGS Norway series is barely legible, however, the early Air Ministry maps were criticised for not having enough detail.
