$5 Airborne Ike Jacket

Article about: Found this one at a local antique store for a whopping \\$5. The tag inside is dated May 24, 1946...not WWII, but I couldn't resist for the price.

    Nice 50's Ike jacket with the short lived and unpopular stripes.

    I assume the jacket was pieced together during the Korean War time period with WWII or JUST post-war patches?

    Hi Joe, the insignia, bar the NCO's stripes which are purely post war in nature, the shoulder sleeve insginia could be WW2 manufacture or just post war, there is no real difference in construction.
