Default British Airborne Artillery Officers Service dress jacket

Hi Guys, this is another item from my collection. It was rescued from a junk pile old uniforms at a show and was bought very cheaply

The jacket is most likely made in India and is a very light shade of khaki. Unusually, it has never been fitted with collar dogs.

The "Pegasus" Airborne Division insignia are high quality private purchase examples. The gliders troopers badge I have had to restore in place as it had been removed.

Rank insignia for a Captain, in the form of three bronze pips are worn on the shoulder straps.

Brass buttons are Royal Artillery pattern.

The jacket is fully lined with shot silk.

    Cheers, Ade.
