hi kradman ,what stamps are you referring to,i can only see the liner stamping on my computer allthough it seems a little blurred ,the scrim atop of the netting certainly doesn't seem period
The BMB stamps have been done twice, hard to say from the crappy pics of it if it has been done to hide a post war date, though the rest of the pics are pretty sharp. Not one that I would buy.

The stamps look double stamps or restamped as put hard to tell from photos
Dodgy photos...best way to disguise dodgy merchandise........caveat emptor
Looks like a later dispatch riders lid done up to resemble a para helmet........Dutch and Belgian forces used such helmets post war I believe and the seller is in the Netherlands......draw your own conclusions but I wouldn't buy it...
I like the way he has faked the chalk line around the crash pad in the top of the helmet.
Contacted the seller to let him know the bad news but no surpise no reply from him ,looks like someone will pay good money on this helmet
There's a general "Gloss" and cleanliness to the helmet which I'm personally not over keen about ...
any clues to how it would be restamped ,would the seller have made up a copy stamp press ? or is it easier than it sounds
