    Default Jerkin Leather no.2 camoflaged

Quick question--I've just returned home from a military show and in my quest
to find some Commando or Airborne related gear for a photo shoot,
I found a nice condition late war leather Jerkin.

Is a leather Jerkin something that would have been worn by Commando
    troops?

    ----------------

Ok, after spending hours surfing the interweb , I found the answer to my question
    right here on this forum.

Below is a picture that Ade posted of his friend Frank Barton of #6 Commando
wearing his leather jerkin. He is standing on the right.

    Quick tip --
Don't type in "Commando Jerkin" on google and then hit images.

I noticed that as well. according to the size tag, the one I found should fit me pretty
well but it is way bigger than what I could wear comfortably. I'll try and get some pictures
    posted of it later today.

The jerkin is really a general issue item, here's my two camo variations - left 1941, right 1944
    Looking forward to seeing yours.

Thank goodness I wasn't drinking anything when I read these two. I would have a drink all over my monitor!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Finally was able to get a couple pictures.
The back still has some of the camouflaged paint but you have to look closely.
