m1942 us airborne jump jacket (fake or true?)

Hi, I am new to this web site, my hope is that someone more expert than me could help me about militaria when I am going to buy something.

I found on sale on ebay this paratrooper jacket, the seller said that he bought it during a gun show in the 80' and he think that the jacket is original, I asked him to send me some photos of the stitches and this is what I received.


I know that is very unusual to find something like thin sewn on a paratrooper jacket, and probably this jacket is a post war one but once i saw a tag similar to this sewn on an original pair of paratrooper jump pants m1942 so I decided to post the photo and hear your opinion.

Strange spec tag...Isnt it usually inside one of the pockets?

I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say 'repro'.
