I found this link. Stalag 17B Camp 025
Here is the specific post copy and pasted:

0 According to 390th Memorial Museum -- Sgt Carver was assigned to the 569th Bomb Squadron - Assigned to Crew #31 -- this would be a great place to ask the site some questions...
Just a thought -- Instead of "Red Nose" there was A/C # 42-30610 - "Red Ass" assigned to the 568th Squadron.
Accepted by USAAF 26 Jun 43. Cheyenne Mod Center 29 Jun 43. Gore Field 30 Jun 43. Grand Isle 15 Jul 43. Dalhart 20 Jul 43. Grand Isle 26 Jul 43. Presque Isle 3 Aug 43. 8th AF 5 Aug 43. Not sure, I'll poke around some more. I did find the unit patch.
Thank you, I am putting together displays for a museum, I am hoping it will be in March Field Museum by years end. I currently have 16 displays built and another (28) B-17 relics with serial numbers attached. All the displays have the airmen's names and the status from the last flight. Some of the displays only have a single relic, but the memory of the airmen and the B-17 still live in the relic, big or small. Thank you again.
The captain of 42-30610 Captain Clarence A. Strawn survived the war and eventually became a Colonel. He died in 1969 and is buried in a Military Cemetry in Colorado.
Below is a photo of Strawn when flying B-17 G 'Anoxia Queen', and this is a list of the crew that day. It was lost in late '44.

I found a B-17 named "Screaming Red Ass", but I do not think this is the plane you were looking for. Anyway here is a pic of "Screaming"
