    Same here , Its a nice wheel , but its not a Battle of Britain relic
    They ran 650 x 150 tyres on E/ F also G1/2 variants .
    From March 42 all the G types ran 660 x 160 tyres
    From July 44 the K type ran 660 x 190 tyres

    I will do some homework on the serial number and tyre hopefully come up with an answer.
    I love a good mystery and that tyre looks unused btw

    Thanks for taking the time to look into this wheel.
    I must admit I was never aware of G or K planes using these early hubs.
    Good luck with the research and keep us informed of your findings.
    Let me know if you need more/better pictures.

    ...so, it IS WW2 and ‘109?.......but a different model than originally thought....right??
