DBU Kraft Stoff fuel cap - aircraft model investigation
Hi,
I have DBU KRAFT STOFF fuel cap.
I wonder if it is possible to determine aircraft model which was equipped with this particular cap.
The fuel cap can be installed in only one position (left ear is smaller than right one).
On the top there are two holes to attach small chain to prevent missing the cap.
I searched the internet and almost all of fuel caps had chain attached on the left side.
As you can see on the pictures my cap have filled right hole (probably chain was made from steel, rusted and fall apart).
I think that side which chains were attached was related to the construction of the aircraft.
What do you think about that ?
