Lancaster Bomb Release Trigger Button 5D/534

I was interested to get my hands on this new old stock specimen, it's a trigger button (Air Ministry 5D/534) assembly with a female plug (Air Ministry 5C/457), minus the locking ring.
Apparently the 5D/534 button was used as a bomb release mechanism in a number of WW2 bombers (Lancaster etc), plus for different applications in other aircraft.
Tested it with a multimeter on resistance mode and sure enough it still works fine.
Interestingly the button housing is quite small (one inch overall) but it takes a huge force to depress the button, which makes sense when you want to avoid accidental triggering.
