The RS on the reverse is for Rudolf Souval. I can't decide if it is an outright fake of a Souval badge or a post war badge. The details are very soft and the cut outs on the reverse don't match wartime examples and lack the sharpness on the edges. The badge should be made of zinc and the catch should be mounted on a base plate but this one doesn't appear to be.
Hopefully one of the Mods can move to the correct forum.

Yes, it's a fake. You can see it's been cast by the area around the makers mark. It's been sanded smooth across the back, you can see the sandpaper marks but around the makers mark you can see the rough where the person who made it couldn't sand in case they rubbed out the RS. It accounts for the soft details and lack of shape and sharpness on the cut outs.

Sad to hear, but thank you!
At least it did not cost me anything!
Moved to the correct section of the forum.
And again, I agree with Adrian, this one is a cast copy.
