    Question Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen (Gustav Brehmer?)

    Hi everyone,
I found an Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen for sale, I'd like to know if you think it is real.

After studying this forum for a bit, I'd say it's crap but I might be wrong:
-The two upper walnuts have a weird angle, not symetrical
-The feathers look like they are miles away from the swas, didn't see that anywhere

I'd say it's closest to Gustav Brehmer version after seeing rbminis's here

Just curious, if it is a GB, should it not have a round wire catch?
    Mine to compare.

    Hi Mate
I don't collect these as such, but compare the hinge plate with the following example:

'Half Moon' Hinge Plate Solid Zinc GAB.

I would say that things appear wonky because of the ridiculously substandard photos.

I'll agree with Brett, better pics would be of help. But from what i can see i'd say it's a good "Halfmoon" Variant!

It looks like a good "half moon" to me, and yes, it is acorns.

I agree with the others, looks like a decent "Halfmoon" zinc despite the rubbish pics. The swas being obscurred doesn' help either.

D'Oh! I thought they were peanuts

There are variations within this type especially in the finish, hinge block and thickness of the badge itself.
