    I'm actually not a big fan of this badge to be honest with you. The setup would match a Karneth but what puts me off is the grip on the bayonet.

    This is how the grips look on certain fakes and if you compare yours to an original the grip does not match at all but rather, it matches a fake grip. Plus your badge seems to be in the exact same condition and with the exact same amount of finish left as the fake badge posted.

    These are of course just my observations so it's better to wait for the experts.

    I believe Karneth massive badges have crimped in hinge and catch . I also agree with Tobias about the handle not being as originals so IMO not a good one . I looked in Mr. Heukemes great book on the subject and did not find a match . Wait for more input .

    I believe the one posted is a copy as well.
    The reverse is scooped out too much, the ball hinge should be crimped in, and the details of the leaves are different.
    Here is mine to compare.
