Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen by Rudolf Souval
Hi Guys, I bought this badge 30 years ago for £16, which was about the going rate for any assault badge back then. I used to buy a badge a week back then. How times change!
This badge has an old repair to replace the catch. I am sure it is period replacement and it was like that when I bought the badge and was oxidised then.
The badge is a typical later war example made from zink.

Nice award Ade,some repairs like this one a period well done repair IMO add to the character. It shows the badge was treasured by someone. Stewy
