Hi all, I have recently purchased this rather nice Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen and would like to find out who the maker is, any help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Jonno,
That's a beautiful and rather rare early Hymmen & Co. GAB in tombak. The design is often criticised by some collectors as ugly, but many including me think that they are wonderfully quirky and different, in a nice way. I would have no hesitation whatsoever on picking this badge up had I had the chance, you've done very well getting it!
Regards, Ned.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
