I believe the badge is good, not sure if the hinge and pin have been reattached.
Hopefully someowith more knowledge of these badges will be along to off more advice.

Hello Ade, can't really help definitively but it's reminding me of a Steinhauer & Luck. Maybe start off comparing with those to begin with until someone else can pin it down for you.

(The problem is, generally, that now I've invested in the Niewarowicz helmet decals book, the Hicks SS helmets book(s), the Adrian Forman books, the Weber and Skora Kriegsmarine books, the Maerz Knight's Cross book, the Bando SS book etc. etc. I've probably spent over a thousand quid on books, and I can't yet afford the Wound Badge or General Assault Badge book...)
