Found these along with a lot of british .303 and german 7.92.
At first glance i thought they were 7.92x57 but these are a bit shorter.
Any idea what these are?

From the headstamps in the top picture the left one appears to be a FN 7.65x53 Mauser case and the other one is a 7.5x54 French case...........Pete.

Just measured them.
Both are 54 in length but also 7.92 in diameter.
That's what got me wondering.

What are the HS`s on the " others " if early 8mm cases they could have been loaded with .318 bullets rather than .323 bullets.show a picture of them....P

Here are a couple of them which i also found at the same spot.
They all measure 8mm.
I'm kinda confused now, lol.
