Hi James, the museum has limited opening times. Weekends are best. But go to the tourist office. Sometimes they will open it up for you.

Yeah, we did try the office de tourism, and they did say that they would usually open, but there is a liberation anniversary fair this friday and the people from the museum where fixed in preparation. Going to return either tomorrow or wednesday. Did, however, visit the American war memorial, was absolutely overwhelming and beautiful.

Dam was there 5 months and did't have time to look up the millitary history of the area, unlike me.
