Interesting belt buckle

Can anyone identify this belt buckle. I found it in a wood east of Berlin. It’s in amazing condition but I just can’t work out it’s nationality. Nearest similar eagle I could find was Spanish! Help greatly appreciated.

This buckle is Weimar period for Feuerwehr officer of the province Brandenburg and was made among others by the well known Assmann and Sohne company of Lüdenscheid under the catalog number 22504, not an exact match bur probably made by another firm..

There were unfired cartridges next to buckle - maybe a Volkssturm man???
