    Can you clever folk help me discover what the following things are? All were found around Berlin in woodland.

    2. Found these weird shaped, thick leather pieces a few times. They don’t seem to match ammo pouches

    3. Uniform or belt parts? A lot of very degraded material with these which made me think it’s from a uniform.

    5. These look very familiar to me but just can’t remember where I’ve seen them

    6. Random Bakelite pieces

    1 = Looks like a plate made to insert into a boot.
    5 = Gasmaske face straps.

    Found another one of these but in a different Berlin forest. It’s in picture 3. Have zoomed in on that piece.

    Also found a pocket knife. Looks old but still has some of wood grip on. HJ Units in this forest so thought could possibly be there’s as was in a foxhole.

    #1 is an inlay boot sole for a person with clubsfoot.
    #5 is from gasmask
    #7 possibly from a lighter

    Correct! I didn't click on the close up. Pity its not the bit that denotes fuze type.

    For #7, I was thinking of a toothbrush head cover.. assuming it is made of plastic.
    I have several period brushes with such covers.

    The leather parts (#2), appear to be off-cuts, rather than from the finished article; perhaps discarded by a military tailor/repair unit?
