The cartridges look like French 8mm Lebel rounds. Are there any markings on the base?

The cartridges could also be Russian so as put above would need to the markings on the base

Have some spent rounds I kept but have yet to check. Will update when done thanks.

Only thing I can see is either an “m”, a “3” or an “E”. If it’s an M it’s very rounded which looks Russian

The top piece in the OP is definitely a bicycle head tube with remnants of the fork.

they look like LABEL rounds with the inner ring on the base, for pointed heads, so as to not set off the primer of the shell in front of it.?

The cartridges look like 8x50R French Lebel to me,if you measure the CASE length it should be 50mm,Russian would be 54mm....Pete.
