    Smile Mosquito part numbers

Recently, I've found a WW2 crash site filled of some aluminium debris with codes.
In one of these, it is possible to see an inspection stamp with "DHW 123", in another a six numbers code starting with "98".
I think it could be a DH98 Mosquito.

    Your opinion?

Hi, All Mosquito part numbers start with 98 preceded by a Letter. The letter will indicate which system or area on the aircraft it belongs too, I do have a list somewhere but can not remember where I put it.

I must check for prefix. I’ll write you down the right code. Thanks...

The code is 981419. It is unclear if it is a letter precode...

It will be near impossible to say what and where the part is and goes, any chance you can supply a picture of the part with a close up of the part number.

    Funny feeling this is American.

Only B-25H has prefix "98-", but with dash. Furthermore, NAA markings are different, I have also an inspection stamp with "DHW 123", I never saw it on remains of B-25 and I've digged more than 3 Mitchells in my life...

Thanks for the picture. I do not recognize the part as being from a Mosquito, as I said before it should have a letter preceding the number and I have helped and are helping to rebuild 2 Mosquito's.
