    Hi i have had this item for many moons can anyone id it use.
    it's all brass three parts two scre together like a tax disc holder for a motor bike.
    could it be a pipe union or a lens from a gas mask open to ideas chaps.
    the second picture is a a button i think any ideas?

    Hi Andy.

    Cant help you with the first pic mate, but the second pic' certainly looks like a button that I found the other week at the USAF Dump site dig, and mines cleaned up pretty good.

    this is after a dip in acid there is no real metal left just rust.
    brass comes up much better.

    The botton was use by the US troops in ww2 from their OD.Pants and jackets.
