Too bad such thing will most likely be 'removed' by EOD instead of being preserved, but I certainly understand.
I seem to remember reading some time ago, about a bomb being found near a cellar with rare wines. That ended bad for the grapes too...![]()
I remember there was a spate of them (4 or 5 ) found in the Ipswich area in the late 70's. (Whether is was to do with land development at the time, I'm not sure).
Pity John Bridge wasn't still around just another job to him !! A remarkable man !!
