Looking for militaria from HKB 31./977, HKB 32./977, HKB 38./977 or militaria related to Norway
I dont like those two eagles. They are probably some cast items and fakes.
Best regards,
Franko
At first glance these look good - looking at the backside they both have their stand attachments minus the stand legs- usually fakes/reproductions will not have the back attachments a good sign for me. As these were very early even the ones considered to be originals lack detail.
Horst

To piggyback off of Horst. I was told these early NSDAP birds when original lacked detail, being very early, sometimes placed in meeting places, as well as possalbly being used to weight down stacks of newspapers. Mine has the stand on it still. Personally, I like them.
Bad cast pieces, I'm afraid.
Mil
I would stay away from it if it was coming out of my wallet.

I too have one of these desk eagles which all seem slightly
different in their casting. Mine is 17cm x 17cm roughly.
It has the same eagle cast and swaztika on the front and back.
A double sided eagle?
Is mine fake?

IMO, yours is a cast copy.
Lacks any detail.
Ralph.
Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
Agree, for a statement piece of decoration, the crudeness and lack of any detail doesn't point to it being an original item.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you for the information.
If you don't ask you'll never know!
