Hammergun,
My initial thought is it's not Third Reich related. Dealing in antiques and vintage items for over 40 years this has a more pre-40's look to me. Makes me believe it was originally a necklace pendant. Decorative items along this line were very popular until WW2. After that...not so much. Let's see if anyone else can offer an opinion or correct identification.

Agree with Gary, could be anything any period ,no III Reich significance other than its a Swaz.

Prior to the Nazi party 'stealing' the swastika, it was a good luck charm with religious meaning. But since WW2 it will always be remembered as a sign of a murderous regime. Are you sure that it's not ivory rather than bone? It could be from the Indian subcontinent.
Cheers,

Thats a good point.
Not something I had considered, along with it being Ivory which I suspect now it may well be.
