Could this Banners Top be original?

Hello Forum,

I´ve seen this Banners Top been offered on the Internet. Its a bit weird looking and it seems to have no Swastika. The font of the Date is a bit weird and could be an addition? In general i have no idea what it really is. I suspect it to be something homemade for an Faire market moving or something like that?
Have you ever seen something similar period, which could confirm its Originality?
All help would be appreciated.

I cannot tell you what it specifically represents, but I can tell you that it looks like it was a decoration for the 100th anniversary of a musical event or musical group and is probably not Nazi-related. The instrument is a Lyre, a Greek instrument that according to Greek mythology was used by Hermes (Mercury to the Romans), the messenger of the Gods to help him steal 50 cattle from Apollo. Dwight
